Rubber Roses Bleed

You had raised me above all the clouds,
You made me feel all proud.
Somehow I let you down,
Somehow I made you frown.

Now I feel the night during the day,
I hear every word she has to say.
I feel incomplete inside,
Now there's so much I need to hide.

The memories won't go.
Tell me, how was I to know?
How was I to know Life would start playing such an off-beat tune?
How was I to know the baby would die so soon?
How was I to know the sun was trying to kill the moon?

How was I to know you were singing me lullabies,
Just to shake me, wake me up and say goodbye?
How was I to know I shouldn't have been so sure?
How was I to know you would walk out that door?

They say it happens all the time.
What was once mine, now belongs to another.
The Red Rose was actually Rubber.
It didn't wilt away,
It was disposed off before I found something to say.

Bitter.Bitter.Bitter.
That's the taste left in my mouth.
Bitter.Bitter.Bitter.
I need to scream and shout.
Bitter.Bitter.Bitter.
Now I run from the sweet.
Bitter.Bitter.Bitter.
How it makes me weak.
Bitter.Bitter.Bitter.
Bits of sunshine, some rain
And lots of pain
Are all that remain.
Bitter.Bitter.Bitter.

Help

Who teaches the flowers to bloom?
Who teaches the birds to sing a different tune?
Who told the sun to keep burning?
Who told the world to keep turning?
Who taught the fishes to swim?
Who put out the fire from within?
Who taught the winds to blow?
Who never bothered to say hello?
Who told Red it wasn't Yellow?
Who has the power to make You feel so mellow?
Who created time?
Who said You were mine?
Who cried when You sneared?
Who told You to grow a beard?
Who said it was over?
Who asked You to shift to Dover?
Who gave it the right to begin?
Who can't see what's within?
Who are You to me?
Who died in the sea?
Who said You could come near?
Who taught You to fear?
Who cries in their sleep?
Who whispers while You weep?
Who believes in the end?
Who said You have a true friend?
Who taught You to laugh?
Who said You should wear that scarf?
Who started to run?
Who asked You to stare at the sun?
Who turns the night into day?
Who picks up when You have something to say?
Who cares if I live or die?
Shouldn't someone be asking 'Why'?

OverShadowed

The smile on his mouth had faded,
All he looked was jaded.
I tried to get through,
But he turned a different shade of blue.
My Red, Red lover should have known,
He should have known I could love no other.

Here I am, Alone on my bed,
After it's all been done and said.
Why do I feel there's so much left to love,
When something inside aches
Like the beats of a trapped dove?

I tried to fix it before it had broken,
I heard the words that hadn't been spoken.
But soon the shadows started flying so low,
That with the blink of an eye
There was no place left to go.

The memories started coming unglued
And reality echoed her every mood
The shadows pierced through the light
And Suddenly,
There was no one left to fight.

QuestionMarks

Where do you go after everything's said and done?
Where do you go when you're not the one?
Where do you hide your pride?
What do you look for inside?
What do you believe when he chooses to leave?

Are you awake when the days feel like night?
Are you awake when the night slips into the light?
Are you awake when he's in your dreams?
Are you sleeping while your heart screams?
Where do you go when you feel naked?
What do you do when the world has faked it?

Do you get angry? Are You afraid to turn?
Do the tears inside burn?
Do you yearn for a chance that just wont come?
What happens after two are ripped into one?

Red

Red is the blood of the untouched virgin,
Red is all well worth merging.
Red is the blood the touched one loses,
Red is the colour that she chooses.
Red is the anger, Red is the love,
Red is the secret from above.

Red is the rose with all her thorns,
Red is the light when it is dawn.
Red is the fire in Your soul,
Red is the truth untold.
Red is real, Red is now
Red is forever and all around

Red is the wine with which You find solace,
Red is what takes You to that higher place.
Red is the blood in Your veins,
Red is all that remains.
Red is the blush on Your lovers cheek,
Red is the heartbeat You cannot keep.

Red is the bruise when You fall hard,
Red is the shadow behind the stars.
Red is the sea when she is rough,
Red are your feet when You've tread enough.
Red is the passion You feel inside,
Red is the colour of My angels eyes.

Red is the rose in full bloom,
Red is the song when I sing a different tune.
Red is the rage I feel inside,
Red is the passion I cannot hide.
Red is the night before the storm,
Red is the colour when I'm all worn.

Red is the vitality in life,
Red is power, Red is strife.
Red is love, Red is pain,
Red is the thunder without the rain.

Red is the mountain, Red is the Earth,
Red is Your only mirth.
Red is passion, Red is insane,
Red is fear without the pain.
Red is pure, Red is cold,
Red is the secret untold.
Red is hot, Red is true
When your friends start thinking anew

Red blurs your visions, Red blurs your pain,
Red is Your reason to remain.
Red is the sunshine through the rain,
Red was the secret when she came.
Red was fresh, Red was new,
Red made me say I do.

Red is real, Red is now,
Red is where You should go somehow.
Red is a cult, Red is an ideal,
Red is what You must learn to feel.

Red is Your sorrow, Red is Your pain-
When you have nothing left to gain.
Red is forgiveness when Your heart is heavy,
Red is sadness 'cos you know You will never be ready.
Red is that feeling You just can't hide
When something's burning deep inside.
Red is all around You near and far,
when there's nowhere You can turn to-
'Cos You've gone too far
And You dont know who You are.

Red is real, Red is now,
Red is forever and all around.

Red is something You cannot chase,
It's the mask that hides in your wake.
Red is the fever when you are cold,
It's the secret that cannot be told.

Red is a feeling, Red is a game,
Red is the thunder without the rain.
Red is the hurt through the fear and the pain,
Red is the moment when You can't refrain.
Red are the stars, Red is the sky,
Red is the secret between You and I.

Red is the blood that lives in Your soul,
Red is the place You look for when Your'e old.
Red is a secret, Red is solace
Red is that other place.
Red is fire, Red is ice
Red are Your feelings when You stop being nice.

Red is Your shadow, Red is Your pain,
Red is Your sunshine through the rain,
Red is where You go when You have nothing to gain,
Red is what You see when there's no one left to blame.
Red is truth, Red is life,
Red is your only vice.

Red is the sun, Red is the light
Red is for what You must fight.
Red can wash away Your pain,
Red can take away Your gain.
Red is the truth, Red is cold,
Red is the secret untold.

Red is Your shadow in the rain,
Red are Your lovers eyes
after You've won the game.
Red is the anger, Red is the shame
When You are to blame.

Red is insatiable, Red is due,
Red is pure, Red is true.
Red is the only cure,
Red is all that You can do.

Red are the moans, Red can fleet,
Red is the beat between the sheets.
Red can spring You onto Your feet.

Red is satisfaction, Red is pain
Red is sunshine without the rain.
Red is yours, Red is mine,
Red is always twined in time.
Red is truth, Red is forgiveness,
When all around You lingers.
Red is real, Red is now,
Red is forever all and around

Red is time, Red is life,
Red is the person for whom You must strive.
Red is hurt, Red is pain
Red is the thunder without the rain.

Red is Yours, Red is mine
Red is the secret of time.

All A-Part Of It

Shadows awaken
When I'm asleep
The Voices are mistaken
And they've learn't to creep.

The night is my only friend
We share a constant solitude till the end.

A fight? A mend?
All away from the latest trend?

Fornication in the dark
A tree without a bark
An opening without a hole
A secret that's untold

Come together, fall apart,
Love with an open heart,
Breathe in, Breathe out,
Scream and shout.

Away, away,
That's where he went.
She never followed
So he wallowed.

But Pride must have its way,
Tomorrow or today.

The tears inside were burning,
There was a constant yearning,
But not a word was spoken
All their dreams were broken.

Walk on, Walk on,
It will all be alright,
I'll be home tonight.

You and Me,
Me and You,
You and I,
I and We,
Together we will sit for tea.

One spoon of sugar or two?
Oh I don't think that frown will do.

Open the door child,
Someone has come.
You must still be mild,
For the battle is not yet won.

Tell me your dream,
While I sip my tea.
Was that a scream?
But it wasn't from You or Me.

What was that child?
Did You hear it?
It was rather wild
Oh I fear it.

I must go home now,
My tea has gone cold.
Lend them your ears now
For the truth untold.

Un(done)

I was so shocked
That I couldn't cry
I felt so mocked
That I couldn't ask why

I was hurt, I was wounded,
How I wish You wouldn't have pruned it.
So here I lie in all my glee,
with the doors wide open.
I feel So free,

So free to be me.

Here I am after losing what i had won,
Here I am completely undone.

Smiles all around me
Inside and out.
Voices all about me
They won't hear me out.

Summer to Winter
Winter to Spring
Spring to summer,
Where did it all begin?

Rebirth to revival,
Revival to death,
Death to 'redeath'
It never ends.

Lost

Little boy, Little boy,
Which way will you go?
Little boy, Little boy,
Will you let it show?
Little boy, Little boy,
The light is growing near,
Little boy, Little boy,
Must You still fear?

Little boy, Little boy,
Don't ask me.
Little boy, Little boy,
Forever we must be free.
Little boy,Little boy,
The light is growing close,
Little boy, Little boy,
Everybody knows.

Little boy, Little boy,
Don't go to your room.
Little boy, Little boy,
Get your head out of gloom.

Little boy, Little boy,
Come near dear,
Little boy, Little boy,
Do not fear.

Unspoken Words

Turning round and round in circles,
Wondering if this ride will ever end.
Saw you standing there,
Thought You needed a friend.
Never knew I was the lonely one.
 Went upto You and smiled,
We stayed there a while.
Wondering now if maybe
You were just a dream.
 Turning in circles now,
Trying to figure out where I am
and where I belong -Let alone who I am.
This life is a strange place to be,
with all the opposites, Ups and downs
And everything that’s relevant all around.
Its warm outside and cold inside,
Other times its just the opposite.
Wonder where we all belong,
That's if we really do belong anywhere.
 Cells, unions, openings, the end.
Joy rides, discoveries, the sky, A friend.
 Random thoughts
While staring out my window.
 She's so heavy.
